Having skippered, fished, dived, spear fished or just cruised these waters for the last 26 years in Mozambique with more than 32 years’ experience in the business, we feel we know the conditions for the species we catch offering you, our valued client, 100% and a fair chance of catching fish.
HALF DAY charters
A 6hour fishing charter for 1 to 8 people from 06h00 to 12h00 or 12h00 until sunset, max 6 hours. All tackle & bait included.
FULL DAY inshore charters
A 8hour fishing charter for 1 to 8 people from 06h00 to 14h00 fishing the inshore reefs and deeper waters along our coast line. All tackle & bait included.
50KM FULL DAY OFFSHORE charter
A 8-10hour fishing charter for 1 to 6 people with groups of 4 preffered from 06h00 to 16h00 fishing 50km offshore looking for big tuna or marlin and other game fish in the main Mozambique current. All tackle & bait included.
100KM EXTREME OFFSHORE FULL DAY charter
A 10-12hour fishing charter for 1 to 6 people with groups of 4 preffered from 06h00 to 16h00 fishing 100km offshore looking for big tuna or marlin and other game fish in the main Mozambique current. All tackle & bait included.
Tackle
We use Shimano TLD 15, 20 and 25 lever drag reels and a variety of other Shimano reels.
For the bigger fish, tuna’s & bill fish, we use Shimano Tiagra 50 reels with matching rods or Penn international 50’s with Daiwa 50 pound boat rods and Black Magic stand-up harnesses.
Our line class we use range from 10kg / 20 pounds to 25kg / 50 pound and braid up 50kg / 100 pound.
For the best fishing results we do trawling with a variety of lures or bait -
Halco, Rapala, Williamson, Pulsator, Bite Me, Nomad and a few made double deadlies.
For drifting, we use made-up traces with live or dead bait.
Fly fishing on request but angler to supply own fly fishing gear & tackle.
General fishing information
We fish for the love and fun of it.
Fish caught in our waters, black, blue & stripe marlin, sailfish, king mackerel (couta),
queen mackerel (natal snoek), dorado, wahoo, green job fish (kaakap), King fish(GT), yellow fin tuna, a variety of tuna species to name but a few. The game fish you catch, you keep and we can clean it for you at no extra charge.
No Bottom or reef fishing. We support and promote catch & release. All Bill fish caught are released.
All passengers are to meet at Santa Maria beach / Boat 30 minutes prior to launch time.
No Transport from accommodation in Santa Maria launch / departure site but available on request if needed.
Depending on your charter/ excursion booked, the duration is for 4 to 12 Hours
At end of charter / excursion duration, back to launch site.
Pickup from accommodation with prior arrangements if required.
Dropoff to accommodation with prior arrangements if required.

RECOMMODATION:
Best for motion sickness - RAW GINGER (please bring with you as non available in our area)
Motion sickness tablets to be taken 1 – 2 hours prior to launch
Included in our charters: all tackle and bait. fuel, skipper and guide. All fish caught will be cleaned free of charge.
Excluded on our charters: food & drink.
All passengers are to meet at the Boat / Beach / Port 30 minutes prior to the arranged launch time.
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Activity reservation require 50% deposit to reserve booking
All activities must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival to confirm booking
Accommodation reservation require 50% deposit to reserve booking
All accommodation must be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival to confirm booking
Unpaid Activities and Accommodation will not be considered as a confirmed booking
Booking with arrival date less than 14 days require payment in full
CREDIT CARD PAYMENT
Due to the fluctuation of the METICAIS, ZAR & US$ exchange rate,
amounts may differ on your statement other than what was quoted
All Quotes are valid for 48 hours from invoice date
Non-payment of deposit for reservations by due date will be cancelled without notice
Non-payment of balance due for reservations by due date will be cancelled without notice
Non-payment of balance due for reservations by due date are subject to cancellation fees
Cancellation fees - all cancellations must be made in writing and a notification reply must be received
25% admin fee will be charged on the total amount for any cancellations or postponements.
50% on the total amount will be charged for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival
100% will be charged on the total amount for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival.
No refund/credit for non-arrival or early departures
Activities:
Credits will only be passed for activities cancelled by the operator or a valid medical reason
A full refund will be given for activities not possible due to bad weather and it is not safe to launch,
Rain is not classified as bad weather, or no alternative day available
Credits are valid for 3 months from date of credit note and are neither exchangeable for cash nor transferable.
No credits or refunds will be passed for activities on special priced packages or bulk deals not used within
start and end dates of the special or the period the offer was booked for
